Hello!
Today was shoot day #1! Thanks to my CrowdFunder, I was fortunate enough to afford to get us a theatre with blacked out walls and floors - making it the perfect blank canvas for the "subconsciousness" segment of the documentary.
During the shoot (where myself and my crew created some, in my opinion, pretty sets) we decided to take a few profile photos, so I could introduce my small but helpful crew on the blog.
(The photos are slightly grainy and mildly out of focus with intention. This has been discussed more on a separate blog post, however just for an immediate answer - Depersonalisation disorder is commonly described as 'warping' and 'blurring' peoples thoughts and images, as if the real world is quite hazy. I wanted to recreate this, personifying DPDR in as many different senses as possible.)
